Ruby on Rails Developer at UserVoice.com in San Francisco, CA

Seeking a kick ass rails developer to join a small team in an exciting high growth startup. You will be responsible for all parts of application except for the UI (where just the ability to communicate and integrate with the front end devs is required) and answering directly to the CTO. This is a key role which has the possibility for tremedous growth and experience. Experience in a SaaS / white labelled web company would be an advantage but is not required.

You have to be completely comfortable with:

The whole Rails (2.3) stack - unless you can point to a Rails app you have been responsible for building from top to bottom chances are you don't have enough experience
Profiling (httperf, kcachegrind, etc)
MySQL
Git and GitHub

Javascript
Capistrano
Async job queues (Workling would be nice...)
Communicating
Getting things done.......

Bonus points for:

Obsessive compulsive tendencies to details.
Other languages: Python, C#, Java, PHP, Perl, VB, etc
Start-up -or- Enterprise support experience.
Contributions to open source projects.
