<p>We are seeking a VP of Sales and Marketing who will be responsible for creating and leading an innovative marketing department. They need to be analytically inclined and intuitively know how to create a metrics-driven organization and be a driver for decisions around pricing, product, retention, ROI, LTV. In addition to developing a strategic positioning for the company, it is the role of the VP of Marketing to ensure that all externally-facing communication is consistent with the company's positioning.</p>
<p>The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate experience in the following areas:</p>
<ul>
    <li>Market and technology research</li>
    <li>Formulation of strategy</li>
    <li>Distribution channel analysis and development</li>
    <li>Technology transfer, licensing, partnerships assessment and development</li>
    <li>Marketing and advertising and promotion planning</li>
    <li>Sales organization planning and development</li>
    <li>Launch planning</li>
    <li>Appropriate administration, budgeting, monitoring, reporting, communication and liaison</li>

<p>We are seeking an interaction designer/front-end developer to help build an amazing user experience for our customers and their users. You&#8217;ll work directly with our Head of UX to design, build and iteratively improve the feedback widgets that power a majority of end-user interaction. Suffice to say your work will give you very high exposure (our current widgets are viewed over 250M times a month) and the opportunity to have considerable ownership over this area of the product.</p>
<p>You have to be completely comfortable with:</p>
<ul>
    <li>Rapid development / prototyping of new features working directly in HTML/CSS/JS</li>
    <li>Working self-sufficiently with Ruby on Rails views / helpers, building templates</li>
    <li>Debugging cross-browser compatibility issues</li>
    <li>Javascript, both standard libraries (Prototype, jQuery, YUI) as well as an ability to write "naked" JS</li>
    <li>FireBug/Developer Tools for debugging</li>
    <li>Writing concise copy that users understand</li>
</ul>
<p>Bonus points for:</p>
<ul>
    <li>Obsessive compulsive tendencies to details</li>
    <li>Experience building embeddable widgets</li>
    <li>Experience doing A/B testing and funnel analysis</li>
    <li>Contributions to open source projects</li>
    <li>Familiarity with Git and GitHub</li>
    <li>Maintaining a blog</li>
</ul>

<p>We are seeking a motivated and engaged Rails developer to join a small team in an exciting high growth startup. You will be responsible for all parts of the application except for the UI - where just the ability to communicate and integrate with the front end devs is required. This is a key role which has the possibility for tremendous growth and experience.</p>
<p>The ideal skill set should comprise experience of:</p>
<ul>
    <li>The whole Rails (&gt; 2.3) stack</li>
    <li>Ruby (should go without saying really...)</li>
    <li>MySQL (writing queries and using indexes)</li>
    <li>Git and GitHub (basic usage)</li>
    <li>AJAX (writing end points for jQuery and Prototype)</li>
    <li>Capistrano (basic deployment)</li>
    <li>Async job queues (DelayedJob, Resque would be nice...)</li>
    <li>Communicating (IRL!)</li>
    <li>Shipping code.....</li>
</ul>
<p>Bonus points for:</p>
<ul>
    <li>Platform experience: Facebook, Google, Ning, etc</li>
    <li>Non-relational databases, preferably Redis</li>
    <li>Profiling (httperf, kcachegrind, etc)</li>
    <li>Mobile experience: iPhone, J2ME, Windows Mobile</li>
    <li>Obsessive compulsive tendencies to details.</li>
    <li>Other languages: Python, C, C++, Java, Perl, Smalltalk etc</li>
    <li>SaaS experience (subscriptions, white labelling, etc).</li>
    <li>Contributions to open source projects.</li>
    <li>Maintaining a blog.</li>
